ADL iFest Meeting Resources

One highlight of this summer’s ADL iFest meeting in Alexandria, Virginia was a panel called“Learning Technology Standards: Competencies and Credentialing.” The panel included Credential Engine as well as representatives from organizations that help different communities share information about students’ competencies across institutions, vendors, and government agencies.
During the panel discussion, attendees submitted dozens of questions for the panelists, which were not able to be fully addressed during the session.
As a follow-up item, the iFest panelists have compiled a Q&A document that sheds light on some of the deeper-level and more technical questions that relate to standards issues within competencies and credentials.
