Kickoff 2019 with Credential Engine

The Credential Engine Team is excited to bring you new resources and ways to engage with our work in 2019. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming up:

  • January 10 – The Pathways Terms Proposal Informational Webinar offers you the opportunity to help shape the pathways terms we’re adding to the CTDL.
  • January 22- Join EDUCAUSE and Credential Engine for Promoting Credential Transparency via a Linked Data Registry. Our own Jeff Grann will be joined by Cali Morrison, Ed.D., Associate Dean of Alternative Learning at American Public University System and Nina Hautemann, Director of Academics and Research at edX to discuss the technical requirements and resources needed to bring credential transparency to an organization.
  • January 22 – Bringing Transparency and Credential Literacy to the Marketplace Part I is a co-hosted event with UPCEA to dive into the “who,” “what,” “where,” “when,” and “why” of Credential Engine’s work. Special guest speaker – Dr. Richard Senese, President and Chief Academic Officer for Capella University, and Co-Chair of the UPCEA Policy Committee.
  • January 29 – Bringing Transparency and Credential Literacy to the Marketplace Part II will dive more deeply into the publishing process and the value of transparent data. Co-hosted with UPCEA and featuring special guest speaker Cali Morrison, Ed.D., Associate Dean of Alternative Learning at American Public University System.
