Opportunities like the National Science Foundation’s Convergence Accelerator grant are rare and we’re calling on leaders and innovators in this space to join our efforts for Phase II by submitting a Request for Information (RFI) to be a subawardee.Â
Over the last few months, the Phase 1 project team has enjoyed learning more about what is already working well in the state of Indiana. So many of our partners helped the project team identify improvement opportunities for connecting initiatives via new partnerships, whether that was through workshops in Indianapolis, the regional event in South Bend , demonstrations and prototypes, analysis of data practices, official advisory group meetings, or just side conversations about overlapping goals and interests. There is much more to do in Phase II in order to build a replicable model for states that ultimately helps learners navigate the future of work and support successful lifetime careers. We cannot do this work alone.Â
If funded and selected, partners will benefit by providing defined deliverables or services via a negotiated subaward, by joining a dynamic NSF-funded project team, and by positioning your work in a replicable model for cities, regions, and states. This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate our collective vision for linked open data infrastructures and I encourage you to get involved.
If interested, please respond to the RFI by March 4th. If you know someone that should respond, then please share this opportunity with them.Â
