Carrie Samson is the Communications Manager for Credential Engine where she manages the organization’s brand, cultivates media relationships, produces print and web content, leads social media efforts, and develops in-person and virtual events.
Before joining Credential Engine, Carrie served as Program Manager for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Center for Education and Workforce where she contributed to the Talent Pipeline Management initiative–a national initiative dedicated to developing demand-driven solutions to the growing national skills gap. In her role, she managed the daily operations of the grant, coordinated state teams, organized national events, authored publications, and led the development of a suite of web-based workforce tools. Carrie also previously managed contract logistics at the Public Broadcasting Service, served on the government affairs team at the Solar Energy Industries Association, and led grassroots efforts at the Council for Exceptional Children.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University in the interdisciplinary studies of Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government. She also has a Masters of Public Policy from George Mason University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
