Michael Parsons
Senior Solutions Architect
Michael Parsons is a member of the technical team for Credential Engine. He is responsible for the main Credential Engine sites, including the Credential Publisher, the Credential Finder, and the Registry Assistant publishing API. Michael also provides technical assistance to publishing partners.
Prior to his work for Credential Engine, he was a consultant at SEA Group in Illinois. There, he contracted with SIU Carbondale to work on the Credential Transparency Initiative and was integral to the groundwork that was the genesis for the current Credential Engine technologies. In addition, his work consulting for SIU covered projects for the Illinois Open Educational Resources (IOER) initiative—making use of a Learning Registry using a similar methodology to the Credential Registry.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
