"I’m excited about the registry’s flexibility and its dynamism. It makes the credentialing process more transparent and understandable for students and employers, and begins to create the data for students to understand how a specific credential relates to entering a job and building a career."
- Gail Mellow, President, LaGuardia Community College

Registry Participants

Registry participants play an essential role in this initiative by making information about their credentials and quality assurance processes available to the Credential Registry. Credential Issuer Participants include:
  • Universities, four-year colleges, and community colleges that award a variety of credentials, from certificates and associate degrees to baccalaureate and graduate level degrees.
  • Organizations and companies that award industry certifications, certificates, and other credentials such as licenses and badges.
Quality Assurance Participants are organizations that accredit, recognize, approve, or endorse credentialing organizations. To learn more about becoming a registry participant, register for an informational webinar. Questions can be sent to info@credentialengine.org.
