2021 Grace Hopper Celebration

September 27, 2021 - October 1, 2021

The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists! It brings the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront, and highlights the contributions of women to the tech world. The theme of this year’s Celebration is “Dare to Transform”.

Of special interest this year may be “Advancing Skills-Based Education and Hiring Through the Open Skills Network”, an On Demand session presented by Credential Engine’s very own Deborah Everhart, alongside Dr. Gwendolyn Britton, Southern New Hampshire University, and Kacey Thorne, Western Governors University. The Open Skills Network (OSN) is a coalition of employers, education providers, military, and other stakeholders dedicated to advancing equitable skills-based education and hiring. Join us for a hands-on experience using common skills language that supports a decentralized network of open, accessible, machine-readable skills libraries for articulating education and skills-based career pathways.
