On October 17, Scott Cheney will join panelists from Microsoft, Lumina, and BrightHive to share insights on the importance of building an inclusive, aligned system to prepare the future workforce for lifelong learning at a forum for Future Workforce Now: Reimagining Workforce Policy in the Age of Disruption. Future Workforce Now, a joint project between NGA Solutions, FHI 360, and Fab Foundation, is bringing together experts from across the country to this event with a goal to better understand major challenges posed by the 21st century economy, identify key barriers and opportunities to building systems-level change to promote data-informed education and workforce programming, and share existing state policies and best practices. Findings from this state policy forum and other activities will be used to inform a toolkit to be released at the culmination of the project.
