This session, “Digital Badges 101: From Open Badges 3.0 to the Credential Registry Badge Publisher,” is a foundational, non-technical-friendly introduction to digital badges and their growing role in credential transparency. We’ll cover what badges are, why the 1EdTech Open Badges 3.0 standard matters, and how Credential Engine’s Badge Publisher tool automatically maps badge name, description, and earning criteria into the Credential Transparency Description Language (CTDL).
