At the Career Pathways Summit on December 4, 2017, Credential Engine’s Scott Cheney will join Commissioner Aaron Fichtner and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development to discuss the importance of credentialing and how Credential Engine is bringing transparency and credential comparability to the Garden State.

The event, which will take place at the Mercer County Community College, will formally launch an effort at the state’s Talent Development Centers (TDCs) to serve as “centers for excellence” and as anchors for expanded, high-quality, employer-driven partnerships that involve businesses, high schools, colleges, universities, labor unions, and workforce development boards.

New Jersey’s TDCs are part of the ‘65 by 25: Many Paths, One Future’ initiative, working to build a skilled, competitive workforce by helping New Jerseyans find pathways to careers. Credential Engine will be assisting with the ’65 by 25 efforts through its partnership  with the state.
