Credential Engine to Present at Association of American Colleges & Universities Annual Meeting

January 23, 2019 - January 26, 2019

On January 25, Credential Engine’s Jeff Grann will be joined by Myk Garn of the University System of Georgia to present Credential Engine: Transparency via an Open Lingua Franca Registry as part of the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U) 2019 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year’s theme for AAC&U’s 2019 Annual Meeting, Raising Our Voices: Reclaiming the Narrative on the Value of Higher Education, will explore ways of elevating administrators, faculty, practitioners, and students in the public narrative about the value of higher education. This meeting will provide an opportunity for institutional leaders—in teaching, research, student support, and student affairs—to share their stories about how higher education at the local, regional, and national levels is preparing students not only for workforce development, but also for democratic participation.

During their session, Grann and Garn will participate in a series of short, TED Talk-style, presentations offering a number of transformative higher education programs and practices. Grann and Garn will focus their remarks on how the CTDL and Credential Registry to enables administrators to connect their teaching and learning functions with their operational systems supporting credentialing practices.
