Credential Engine to Present During PESC 2018 Spring Data Summit

May 3, 2018

On May 3, Credential Engine’s Scott Cheney and SIU’s Jeanne Kitchens will present to leaders in open data standards during the PESC 2018 Spring Data Summit in Washington, DC. This annual event, highlights a range of topics all targeting: access, integration and implementation of data systems; maintenance and promotion of data exchange standards; open, community-driven development and innovation of technology; data privacy, data quality, data management, and data collection and reporting; mobility and overall interoperability; and other key factors that drive global education data systems development and technology.

Cheney will lead a discussion on Credential Engine’s work, while Kitchens will join PESC’s Alex Jackl to highlight how Credential Engine fits into the larger ecosystem of data. Both of these topics fit into the event’s larger theme, “Best Practices in Education Data Systems,” which will focus on ways to gather all data stakeholders openly and collaboratively to solve common, industry-shared problems and bring much-needed clarity and coherence to the education ecosystem.
