Credential Engine is launching The Credential Transparency Description Language Vendor Assessment Tool (CTDL-VAT) on November 7th, and we invite you to participate in the launch webinar happening at 2pm ET on November 7th. The CTDL-VAT is a response to the challenges encountered in this nascent marketplace, rooted in the vision to empower stakeholders across education, training, and workforce with clarity and confidence in vendor bidding and selection processes for products and services that involve CTDL. 

The CTDL-VAT provides a common set of questions for vendors’ completion in order to detail their capabilities, experience with, and support of CTDL, the Credential Registry, and interoperability using Credential Transparency Identifiers (CTIDs). For buyers of these products and services, the CTDL-VAT  contains instructions for using the tool, guidance for evaluating vendors’ responses and comparing their capabilities.
