Today, January 23, Scott Cheney will speak at the American Association of Community Colleges annual Workforce Development Institute. Joined by Lumina Foundation, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Corporation for a Skilled Workforce, and American Technical Publishers, these organizations will lead a workshop on innovative collaborations between education and industry to streamline the talent pipeline. Hosted each year, WDI offers a place for community colleges, industry, federal agencies, and other partners to collaborate, learn, and advance the initiatives that support the nation’s economic engine.
