On February 19th, Scott Cheney will join panelist from The Chronicle of Higher Education, StraighterLine, and the Distance Education Accrediting Commission at the Florida Virtual Campus Summit to share insight on the landscape of new providers of educational programs, the traditional degree giving way to new forms of credentials, the response or involvement of business and industry, and if colleges and universities should plan for and strategically engage in any long-term trends.  The FLVC has brought guest speakers from around the country to discuss the current state of higher education and explore strategies for the future. The summit will explore and consider the changing context for postsecondary education and the threats to the current business model by bringing together some of the best thinking and successful strategies for navigating the dynamic and challenging period in Florida education.
