Kitchens to Present on Navy Project at I/ITSEC Conference

Incoming Director of Technology, Jeanne Kitchens, will present at this year’s Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC)—the world’s largest modeling, simulation, and training event. Focusing on Credential Engine’s work with the U.S. Navy, Kitchens will present with a team on Tuesday, December 3rd for the “Use of Natural Language Processing to Extract Technical Competency Frameworks from Maintenance Task Analyses” session to discuss the progress made in 2019 in leveraging linked open data technology to improve processes for tracking changes in Naval training, equipment upgrades, and maintenance needs.
About this event: I/ITSEC consists of peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students. I/ITSEC is organized by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation (M&S), training, education, analysis, and related disciplines.
