On October 11, Program Manager Emilie Rafal will join workforce and technology experts at the NYATEP (New York Association of Training & Employment Professionals) 2018 A New Dawn for Workforce in New York conference. During her session “The Future of Work and Learn,” Rafal will discuss new pathways, tools, and technologies for a skilled workforce.
The panel will also include representatives from the Workforce Development Institute, Innovate + Educate, and the DC 37 Education Fund. Notably, the Workforce Development Institute and Innovate + Educate are working together on the Future Skills Exchange project, a repository of information about competency-based credentials, training, research, and more which will pull information from the Registry. This partnership will be publicly launched at A New Dawn for Workforce and Rafal and the panelists will describe the proposed work in further detail during their session.
