May 8, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm EDT

On Wednesday May 8, Credential Engine Executive Director Scott Cheney will take part in a keynote panel at the Postsecondary Electronic Standards Council (PESC) Spring 2019 Data Summit, which is PESC’s 20th Annual Convening of Stakeholders.

The summit’s theme is “State of Technology and Standards in Higher Education,” and will focus on how institutions, policymakers, and technology providers can continue to serve a changing student population.

Cheney will appear on the keynote panel “Challenges and Perspectives on Bridging Education’s Reluctant Evolution in the Face of an Emerging Digital Revolution,” to discuss the ongoing evolution of the postsecondary ecosystem, what data is needed for continued development of the interplay between education and workforce, how to better connect new and existing data to serve the learner, and what else can be done to continue the forward progress of postsecondary education.
