Nicolas Soto

Nicolas Soto is a Software Engineer, AI/ML Specialist at Credential Engine, where he works on software systems and data infrastructure that support national-scale credential and skills data. His work focuses on building scalable, production-ready systems and integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into real-world applications.

Prior to joining Credential Engine, Nicolas worked across the public and private sectors, including an internship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a tenure at FIS. His experience includes building cloud-native systems, scalable APIs, event-driven architectures, and secure authentication solutions. He has also worked with AI technologies, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and machine learning pipelines.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
