Sherika Rich

Partnerships Manager

Sherika Rich serves as a Partnerships Manager for Credential Engine. In this role, she cultivates partnerships and manages projects that support credential transparency and subsequently lead to an environment of informed decision-making regarding credential opportunities and pathways.

Prior to joining Credential Engine, Sherika worked as the Workforce Development Board Assistant Director for Centralina Regional Council, a Council of Governments that leads and serves the greater Charlotte region through strategic utilization of resources and creative problem-solving to expand economic development opportunities and improve the quality of life.

As the Workforce Development Assistant Director, Sherika specialized in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programmatic design and the operations and accountability oversight of eight (8) local American Job Centers. Sherika also served as Centralina’s Super User for the State’s Virtual OneStop system(s) where she developed and administered accessible local, state, and national training for fellow workforce development, training, education, and employer partners.

Sherika holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has ten (10) years of professional experience in workforce development.
