The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is leading a groundbreaking statewide effort to transform how student achievements are recorded and shared through its Comprehensive Learner Record initiative, TBR CRED.

Covering 37 public postsecondary institutions, this digital system goes beyond traditional transcripts to showcase verified skills, experiences, and achievements both inside and outside the classroom. By integrating with the Credential Registry and using open standards like CTDL and 1EdTech, TBR CRED connects learners, employers, and institutions with a clearer view of real-world competencies.
