About

Colorado

Colorado state agencies work with Credential Engine to apply the Credential Transparency Description Language (CTDL) to the state’s Credential of Value Framework (COV) for use with the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), Career Development Incentive Program (CDIP), and other credential lists, as applicable.

Working together to publish information as linked open data to establish and deploy a common, shared, and open Colorado Credential Repository of essential information about providers, programs, credentials, competencies/skills, quality, outcomes, and pathways supports the Colorado’s priorities, use cases, and guidance tools and services like My Colorado Journey (MJC), and beyond.

“Program Finder” tool, My Colorado Journey (MCJ) now allows learners to search for education and training programs in their local area. This tool is powered by data in the Credential Registry. Because the new and enhanced Program Finder on MCJ uses CTDL, it allows learners to find programs around Colorado and to make more straightforward comparisons.

Colorado has published over 3,400 credentials to the Registry!
