About
Nevada
As national workforce development grants require states to make information about all credentials publicly accessible through linked open data formats such as the CTDL.Â
Credential Engine assisted Nevada in meeting the requirements for credential transparency in its Reimagine Workforce Preparation grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Nevada’s Project SANDI (Supporting and Advancing Nevada’s Dislocated Individuals), which was a recipient of those grants, helped dislocated and underemployed workers, along with new job seekers impacted by the pandemic by access and funding to workforce training programs in critical industry sectors, including advanced manufacturing, health care, information technology, and skilled trades.
Nevada published over 100 credentials in critical industry sectors, including advanced manufacturing, health care, information technology, and skilled trades.
