About
Massachusetts
Bristol Community College was a recipient of a 2024 subgrant from the Gates Foundation and is focusing on expanding the Credentials entered in the NEBHE project by adding skill-based credentials and their competencies to the registry. Bristol will also add institutional job classifications to the registry. This will support the creation of professional development plans and will inform job descriptions for new vacancies at Bristol. Bristol has partnered with employers to establish a small trust registry, aiming to enhance the use of LERs.
Through a strategic collaboration with the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE), we worked to build participation of Massachusetts public colleges in publishing their credentials to the Credential Registry.
Bristol has published:
- 124 Credentials
- 816 Learning Opportunities
- 784 Competency Frameworks
