Rhode Island
In 2018, the Commission on Higher Education & Employability, chaired by Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo, recommended that the New England states collaborate on the build out of the Registry, with a focus on high-value credentials. As such, Rhode Island is an original member of the HVCNE initiative. NEBHE is working to build participation of the state’s three public institutions, as well as its independent colleges.
