This is a collaborative initiative to build an interoperable credential registry, dashboard, and end user tools in the state of Florida. Leaders in Florida are looking to better align and integrate the state’s workforce education and development systems, and they recognize that making information about all credentials and competencies transparent and publicly accessible using CTDL is key. Currently, data is captured and collected locally and only available to the state Department of Education upon request rather than in real-time. The Department of Education and other state agencies will be able to use the registry to search for and acquire information on all credentialing programs offered by Florida school districts, Florida technical colleges, FCS institutions, and other WIOA eligible providers.
