NOCTI’s John Foster will join Credential Engine’s Jeanne Kitchens at ACTE’s Careertech Vision Conference on December 6 – 9 in Nashville, Tennessee.
During this event, Foster and Kitchens will discuss the importance of credential transparency and literacy as well as the latest developments from Credential Engine during a session entitled, “The Transparency Credentialing Initiative: What You Should Know!”
According to the session description: At last count there were close to 5,000 certifications and 2,000 licenses available, all claiming to signal real skills and knowledge in a variety of technical fields. For the last several years Lumina and JP Morgan have stepped up to provide a resource called the “Credential Engine,” which developers hope will provide equitable criteria to determine which credentials fit your program.
