Chantel Rice, Ed.D.

State Partnerships Manager

Dr. Chantel Rice serves as a State Partnership Manager, where she manages and supports state and regional projects to increase credential transparency and post secondary pathway awareness.

Before joining Credential Engine, she served in external partnerships and revenue generation roles as a Grant and Fundraising Manager with education support organizations, GreatSchools, and the Tennessee State Collaborative on Reforming Education. In these roles, Dr. Rice cultivated meaningful relationships that led to increased organizational reach and impact and increased institutional sustainability.

Chantel holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, a master’s degree from Belmont University, and a Doctorate in Education from Lipscomb University, where she studied educator preparation program accountability and co-authored Educator Preparation Program Perceptions of a State’s Accountability System: A Mixed-Methods Study. Her passion for higher education and advocacy blossomed as she pursued her education journey and path. She desires to create credential and post-secondary pathway awareness and transparency so that more individuals can find their unique path and thrive in today’s evolving and complex economic landscape.
