Jared Diener

Jared Diener is the State Partnerships Manager for Credential Engine. In this position, he manages state and regional projects, explores expansion opportunities, and supports program and partnership development.

Prior to joining Credential Engine, Jared worked at James Madison University as Director of Honors Advising and Assistant Director of Fellowships and Awards. He also directed international programs at university partners in the UK. In these roles, he helped students find educational opportunities, chart academic pathways, and connect competencies and skills to career and postgraduate goals. He worked closely with faculty and administrators on issues related to curriculum development, admissions, retention, financial aid, and student success. 

Jared holds a Bachelor’s degree in history from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in modern history from Oxford University. He is based in Staunton, Virginia.
