Credential Engine announces that it will support the California Workforce Development Board’s (CWDB) requirements to make transparent the credentials provided as part of the Reimagining Workforce Development grant from the United States Department of Education. California was one of eight states to receive this grant award. Credential Engine is working with multiple of those states to assist with meeting this obligation. Â
Nearly half the states are now working with Credential Engine to realize the value of credential transparency, and ensure that essential information about credentials, competencies, quality, outcomes, pathways, transfer, and links to job skills is fully available as linked, open, interoperable data. Doing so will lead to improved tools and services for learners, workers, employers, educators, and others.
