Credential Engine has been invited to join the State Equitable Recovery Coalition! The Coalition is an initiative started by National Governors Association (NGA) in partnership with Education Strategy Group and supported by the Siemens Foundation.
There are currently 18 organizations in the Coalition who are committed to drive sustainable, equitable recovery and growth after the economic disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, while leveraging the opportunity to address issues related to workforce, education, public services, and racial and economic justice.
Credential Engine is excited to bring its expertise into these important conversations as we work together to help advance this mission.
As part of this work, the NGA Center for Best Practices will host a series of action labs that provide tangible steps for Governors’ staff and state teams to advance their goals. These labs will focus on intersectional issues with the common goal of increasing economic opportunity for students and workers with low income, particularly Black, Latinx and Indigenous communities and women, while achieving racial equity in access, success and outcomes in postsecondary education and workforce development programs.
