Texas Workforce Commission Issues RFO for Credential Wallet with CTDL Pathway Capabilities

On June 14, 2023, the Texas Workforce Commission issued a Credential Wallet Request for Offer (RFO #3202400011) seeking a Credential Wallet solution that is in alignment with the Tri-Agency’s commitment to open credential and skill data in the Texas Credential Library, and allows an individual to: 

• Store and display credentials earned (for example, certifications, licenses, diplomas), 
• Track credential expiration and renewal dates (as applicable),
• Receive information about the next credential(s) to pursue while on a career pathway established in accordance with Credential Transparency Description Language (CTDL), and
• Share credentials instantly and securely with various audiences such as employers, workforce training programs, local education agencies, and institutions of higher education.
